It couldn't have been much better for the buyers in the front row who were told to look but not touch and don't carry handbags. Shows were scaled down (how many times did you hear the "we wanted an intimate setting" excuse?) and there must have been a champagne drought because we didn't see any of that either. I guess penny pinching is the new black. ...
