Michael Jackson's sister, Janet Jackson, made a surprising speech at the 2009 BET Awards after losing her brother. In what I think was the only highlight.
As Janet Jackson approached the stage a strong ovation followed her and with just days since the death of her brother Michael Jackson you can see how this has emotionally affected her. During her speech she said:
“To you, Michael is an icon. To us, Michael is family and he will forever live in our hearts. On behalf of my family and myself thank you for your love and support. We miss him so much. Thank you so much.”
